First-Generation College Day
Led by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and the NASPA Center for First-Generation Student Success, First-Generation College Day, November 8th, is intended to celebrate the success and presence of first-generation college students, faculty and staff on campuses across the country.
Oxnard College strongly supports and advocates for our First-Generation college students as they pursue their passions and interests in higher education to follow a variety of career pathways.
Stay tuned as we finalize our plans and follow the University Transfer Center (UTC) on social media. We are here to celebrate you, as former First-Generation college students and/or allies to support you to #BetheFirst.
