CalWORKs Student Support Services

*In compliance with District-wide policies implemented to limit the risk of exposure to COVID-19, the OC CalWORKs Office offers both In-Person and Virtual Services. We will be responding to voice messages and emails promptly according to the needs of the Student-Parent.*

Please call or email the CalWORKs Office, leaving a detailed message, in order to schedule an In-Person or Zoom appointment with on of our Counselors.

Online Tutoring Services provided by the OC LLRC

Receive live tutoring for various subject matter on Zoom from LLRC Tutors, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

CalWORKs-assigned tutor, Yacine Woodall, is available Monday through Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm

The interprogrammatic collaboration between CalWORKs and CARE produces the Easy Access to Successful Employment for Life (EASEL) Workshop Series every Fall and Spring Semester, during which students are provided with life, health, and job learning opportunities, encouraging the student to grow holistically

On-campus internship employment opportunities as a Student Worker in various programs and departments based upon program availability, funding availability, and student's experience, Financial Aid status, and availability
