Andrea Duran was born and raised in Oxnard, CA. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Master’s degree in Counseling Education College Student Personnel, both from California Lutheran University. She has been working in higher education for over ten years in various roles such as Institutional Research, Admissions doing STEM Outreach, and Academic Advising. She was the first in her family to attend a four-year university. Andrea is passionate about working with college students and supporting them with anything they need to succeed.
