The Oxnard College Library Instruction program aims to build information competency in students and uses the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy in Higher Education as a guide for all library instruction activities. The program supports Institutional Student Learning Outcome 4 - Information Literacy: Students will formulate strategies to locate, evaluate, and apply information from a variety of sources in a verity of formats such as print and/ or electronic.
