About Program

Students in the Computer Networking/IT program can earn an Associate in Science Degree, Certificate of Achievement, or a Proficiency Award in a specific IT focus area such as Cisco networking, wireless networking, cybersecurity, and Microsoft operating systems. Every CNIT course is preparing students for a specific IT certification such as Cisco, CompTIA, or Microsoft. Students in the program are eligible for significant discounts on many of the industry certification exams through our academic partnerships.

Oxnard College is a Cisco Networking Academy, Comp TIA Education to Career Partner, and Microsoft Learning Partner

We have also partnered with Google Cloud, Amazon AWS, and Microsoft Azure to provide cloud computing training resources at no additional cost to students beyond the cost of enrollment in our CNIT R151 course. All Cisco Academy courses have a top-notch curriculum provided to students at no additional charge (CNIT R101, R120, R121, R142, R143, R161).
