About Program
The Automotive Technology program at Oxnard College is designed to prepare students to either enter the industry as entry-level technicians or to provide continuous improvement training to technicians already employed in the industry. Students can complete an Associate of Science Degree or Certificate of Achievement. Courses include the full range of curriculum for this occupation, including the fundamentals of engine repair, reconstruction, electrical analysis, and trouble-shooting techniques. All courses are taught by Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified instructors.
