The C6 Alliance is dedicated to helping STEM students across the Central Coast to excel in their academics and develop professional networks designed to assist them in entering into the STEM careers of their dreams. STEM students from Allan Hancock, Cabrillo, Cuesta, Monterey Peninsula, Moorpark, Oxnard, Santa Barbara City, and Ventura Colleges are invited to join us for these instrumental and informative presentations as the Alliance rallies around you to support your academic success! Call for Stories to Celebrate HSI's and National Hispanic Heritage Month
Let’s celebrate Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) and the National Hispanic American Heritage Month (September 15 to October 15, 2022) For National Hispanic American Heritage Month (HHM), we invite HSIs to share stories, pictures, videos, links, etc. uplifting the work on campus and the ways in which you've been celebrating both National HSI week and HHM.
• HSI Faculty/staff hashtag (#HSIFaculty #HSIStaff) – Celebrating HSI Faculty/Staff Diversity – Please share how your diverse experiences and backgrounds contribute to your role as an educator, mentor, HSI advocate, etc.
• HSI Student hashtag (#HSIBelong) – Celebrating Student Belongingness – Please share your story of what makes you feel connected to your HSI. A sense of belonging is important for our physical and mental health. Are there activities you take part in through connection with your campus communities and beyond that help foster a sense of belonging? Let us know!

Also to promote communication between all Oxnard College clubs and to create a proactive atmosphere among students for women’s rights and education related to STEM.

DOE Omni Technology Alliance Internship Program - Summer 2023

The following benefits will be offered:
- Stipend – $750 per week (stipend will increase to $850 and $950 in the second and third year of future participation, respectively)
- Housing Allowance – A housing allowance of a minimum $240 per week will be provided.
- Travel - Travel reimbursement will be provided for inbound and outbound expenses up to $1,000 for participants who relocate more than fifty miles, one-way, from the assigned hosting site. Depending on your project assignment, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement for travel and education to further the educational goals of your appointment.
- Virtual Appointments: Appointments may be hosted virtually at the discretion and approval of the host site or facility.
The Omni Technology Alliance Internship Program will begin on June 5, 2023, and end on August 11, 2023. Summer interns will be expected to commit to full-time participation based on 40 hours per week, including a week-long culminating event in Washington, D.C., August 5-11, 2023. Exceptions to the proposed period may be considered on a case-by-case basis to accommodate the candidate’s academic schedule.
