Mandatory Orientation for CIS R020A, CIS R021A, CIS R024, CIS R122, CIS R123A, CIS R129 and CIS R130: Attendance at one Mandatory Orientation session is required for all students registered in any of the above courses. Orientations are scheduled to begin on August 18 and will continue per the following schedule until August 29: DAY Orientations: Mon thru Wednesday at 9am, 11am and 1pm in OE-3; Thursday at 9am, 11am and 1pm in OE-2 and Friday at 9 and 10 am in OE-2 EVENING Orientations: Mon thru Thursday at 5pm and 7pm in LA-7 |

The Computer Skills Center (CSC) is a distinctive learning environment with a unique philosophy and flexibility. Located in classrooms LA-7, OE-2, and OE-3,the CSC is designed to provide students with flexible short-term, open-entry/open-exit scheduling. This flexible scheduling will give students the ability to take courses and schedule them according to their lifestyles. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) will be offered in the CSC as well as computer literacy courses: Intro to Microcomputers and Intro to Windows
The CSC is also the home of the Office Occupation Preparation Program where students will be provided with full-time office technology training.

Required Orientation Sessions
IMPORTANT: All students enrolled in the above courses are required to attend an orientation session.
*Orientation for CIS R007 will be held on the first day of class, August 18 in room LA-7. Call (805) 986-5800, ext 1979 for further information.
Orientation Schedule for Microsoft Courses & Computer Literacy Courses:
Day and afternoon orientations will be given Mon through Thurs, in room OE-3 on August 18 - 28 at: 9 & 11 am; and 1 pm. On Friday August 22 & 29 at 9 and 11 am ONLY.
Late afternoon and evening orientations will be given in LA-7 on Mon through Thurs only, August 18 - 2 at 5 & 7 pm.
